FROM THE PUBLISHERS
Indulge me for a personal announcement and thought. We are thrilled that God has provided for us a most precious gift this Christmas Season. Connor Lawson Rothschild was born last Wednesday, December 9, weighing in at 7 lbs 14 ozs. You can see him at www.womensministry.net/ConnorPics.htm. What a joy to hold him in our arms, to listen to him breathe, to gaze into his eyes. I can't help but wonder, "what is he thinking?", "what is he wanting?", "what is he needing?" May we all take time this Christmas to wonder about THE greatest gift - the birth of our Savior. What is He thinking, what is He needing, what is He wanting…from us. God Bless You.

Jennifer and Philip Rothschild, Publishers publisher@womensministry.net

THE BALANCED WOMAN OF GOD
Chuck Swindoll provides three conclusions regarding the matter of being a balanced woman of God. Each will require a good deal of your time and each will call for a fair amount of effort if you hope to put it into action permanently:

A Balanced Woman of God Sees Scripture as God's Vital and Relevant Word Worth Her Attention, Devotion, and Application.

A Balanced Woman of God See Herself as Valuable, Gifted, Responsible for Her Own Growth and Maturity... Not Overly Dependent On Anyone To Get Her Through Life Or To Make Her Secure.

A Balanced Woman of God Sees the Lord as Her Strength, Her Refuge, and Her Shield.

NEW EASY TO READ FORMAT
A very practical idea came in from one of our subscribers. She suggested that we re-format our e-Newsletter so that she can read the newsletter without having to scroll left and right in her message box. Great idea. Hope you like our 4 inch column width. This should fit in most e-mail message boxes, without you having to scroll sideways or maximize your message box. Thanks for the idea Marilyn. We're listening! Have a suggestion? Send it to

comments@womensministry.net.

wm Tip: BREAKING MENTAL BLOCKS
If you get bogged down in a problem, or you seem to have come up dry on themes, ideas, topics, etc., one of the ways to kick-start your creativity is to begin scribbling with a pencil, or pick up a small object, with your non-dominant hand. Evidently, the unfamiliar muscular movements from the subordinate side of your body will trigger an electrical flow in the non-dominant side of your brain. The net result? New connections, a new perspective -- possibly a new idea. Try it!
