1. QUICK TIP: NOT A PEAR TREE BUT A *PRAYER TREE*

Here's one way to plant a tree that will bear fruit for eternity. The
women of Marianna FL placed an artificial tree near a designated
prayer room at their weekend women's retreat. There was a leaf
on each branch of the tree that, when opened, bore the name and
photo of one of the women attending the retreat. Throughout the
weekend each woman was to pull a leaf off of the tree and pray
for that woman in the prayer room. At the close of the retreat, a
time of fellowship was arranged where all women could get together
and find out who had been praying for them, and to celebrate how
the Lord had worked during the weekend.

Modification: Instead of inserting a photo within the leaf, when
women register for the retreat ask for a prayer request, or the
names of their spouse and children.
